Skin boosters lean toward texture and glow, biostimulators toward long-term collagen remodeling, and fillers toward volume and contour.
Asian skin can retain post-treatment pigmentation for a long time. If you have melasma, lingering acne marks, or a history of post-laser pigmentation, you must tell your doctor.
After HA or PN injections, the skin can look bumpy like mosquito bites — this embossing is a common reaction as the material settles, usually within 2–5 days.
If you've had frequent cold sores, laser, peels, or injections can reactivate herpes. Ask the clinic whether you need antiviral medication before the procedure.
Some exosome products distributed in Korea are classified as cosmetics and cannot be injected directly. They are generally applied to the skin surface after laser, MTS, or microneedling. Rules differ by country, so always confirm directly with the clinic.
If side effects appear after you return home, a local clinician can't respond well without knowing which product was injected, where, and how much. Ask for an English-language treatment record with product name, ingredients, dose, lot number, injection site and depth, date, doctor, and an emergency contact.
Korea offers many skin treatments — HA skin boosters, PN/PDRN, Rejuran, Juvelook, Sculptra, Radiesse, lasers, RF, HIFU, fillers, and more. They don't all share the same purpose, so it helps to know which category your concern falls into before you consult.

Epidermal concerns relate mostly to the surface barrier, stratum corneum, pigment, and UV damage. In deeper skin tones especially, strong lasers or peels can cause post-treatment pigmentation, so it helps to first distinguish melasma from ordinary spots.
Hollowing or contour change may be about facial structure and volume rather than the skin surface. In that case, repeating skin boosters alone may not fit; these are questions worth raising with a licensed clinician. Surgical options such as fat grafting are outside the scope of this planner.
